Burmese Slow-Food Cooking Class in Bagan

Every little detail was wowing us to a higher point. So much thought, so much care, so much love to provide the best service and the best memories.

Learn traditional Burmese cuisine on our organic farm

Learn about traditional Burmese dining in this local culinary adventure! Using fresh local ingredients, many from organic farms within the Bagan monument zone, you will prepare a 4-course meal together with our village cooking team in our Bagan cooking class.

A Culinary Journey

We begin with a walking tour of our host village to learn about traditional agricultural practices and crops, and how the local climate and soils influence Myanmar hospitality and diet. Learn how many local plants can be foraged for use in Burmese cooking. Some are even used as medicinal plants in traditional Myanmar medicine. Depending on the season, we may try edible flowers or fruits picked directly from a homestead garden.

The activities themselves were well organised, excellent equipment, with every little detail thought of and considered – plus wonderful food! Nothing was too much effort.
